The best-selling smartphone in the world right now is Apple's iPhone 13, not Samsung or any other.

IDC, the company that releases smartphone sales figures, has named the top 5 best-selling phones in the first quarter of 2022.

The iPhone 13 was the third best-selling phone in the last quarter before 2021 and surpassed all others during the January-March 2022 period. 

The best-selling smartphone in the world 

The report did not say how many units of the iPhone 13 were sold during this period, but the iPhone 11 in 2020 and the iPhone in 2021. 

With 12 being the best-selling phones in the world, it is not surprising that the iPhone 13 topped the list in the first quarter.
