 Election Commission of Pakistan hereby issues the following schedule for election to fill the general seats

No.F.7(2)/2021-LGE-C:- In exercise of the powers conferred upon it under Articles 140-A

(2) and 219(d) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan read with Section-219 of the Elections Act, 2017, Section-58 of the Cantonment Ordinance, 2002 (as amended from time to time) read with Rule-8 & 14 of the Cantonment Local Government (Election) Rules, 2015 and all other powers enabling it in that behalf; the Election Commission of Pakistan hereby issues the following schedule for election

to fill the general seats inwards of 42 Cantonment Boards and calls upon the electors of such wards to elect their representatives from the attached list of constituencies in the Cantonment Boards:

To ensure that elections to the Cantonment Boards are conducted honestly, justly, fairly in accordance with law and to ensure that the corrupt practices are guarded against, the Election Commission of Pakistan directs that:

All Executive Authorities in the Federation and in the Provinces shall neither announce any development project nor use State Resources in Local Government Elections calculated to influence the elections in favor of a particular candidate;

نمبر ایف 7 (2) / 2021-LGE-C: - مضامین 140-A کے تحت اس کو دیے گئے اختیارات کے استعمال میں

(2) اور 219 (د) آئین کے اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان نے الیکشن ایکٹ 2017 کے سیکشن 219 کے ساتھ پڑھا ، کنٹونمنٹ آرڈیننس 2002 کے سیکشن -58 (وقتا فوقتا ترمیم شدہ) قاعدہ کے ساتھ پڑھا گیا۔ کنٹونمنٹ لوکل گورنمنٹ (الیکشن) قواعد ، 2015 کے 8 اور 14 اور اس کے لئے اسے قابل بنانے والے دیگر تمام اختیارات؛ الیکشن کمیشن آف پاکستان اس کے تحت 42 کنٹونمنٹ بورڈز کے وارڈوں میں عام نشستوں کو پُر کرنے کے لئے انتخابات کے لئے مندرجہ ذیل شیڈول جاری کرتا ہے اور ایسے وارڈوں کے انتخاب کنندہوں سے مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ وہ کنٹونمنٹ بورڈز میں انتخابی حلقوں کی منسلک فہرست سے اپنے نمائندوں کا انتخاب کریں:

یہ یقینی بنانے کے لئے کہ کنٹونمنٹ بورڈز کے انتخابات ایمانداری کے ساتھ ، منصفانہ ، منصفانہ ، قانون کے مطابق اور یہ یقینی بنانے کے لئے کہ بدعنوانیوں کے خلاف کارروائی کی جا رہی ہے ، الیکشن کمیشن آف پاکستان ہدایت کرتا ہے کہ:

فیڈریشن اور صوبوں میں تمام انتظامی حکام نہ تو کسی ترقیاتی منصوبے کا اعلان کریں گے اور نہ ہی کسی خاص امیدوار کے حق میں انتخابات پر اثر انداز ہونے کے لئے حساب کتاب کی جانے والی مقامی حکومت انتخابات میں ریاستی وسائل کا استعمال کریں گے۔
