Gold and silver prices in Pakistan hit historic hights

Gold costs in Pakistan hit record highs after the rupee lost altogether against the dollar as the nation battles to get outer supporting.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA) released data on Monday showing that the price of 24 karat gold per tola increased by Rs 3,100 and increased by Rs 2,656 per 10 grams to Rs 217,700 and closed at Rs.186. 643.

The rise in the yellow metal coincided with the decline in the rupee's value against the US dollar in the interbank market, which was 2.44 percent, or 0.85%, higher.

The association also stated that the price of gold in Pakistan is "undervalued" by Rs 5,000 per tola when compared to the market in Dubai. This suggests that the Pakistani gold market is currently inexpensive in comparison to the global market.

As a result of increases of Rs 30 per tola and Rs 25.72 per 10 grams, domestic silver prices reached new all-time highs of Rs 2,480 and Rs 2,126.20, respectively.
The cost of gold per ounce on the planet market fell by 6 bucks to 2002 bucks.
